Hi all,
The progeny install fails when switching to the VGA mode of the first
installation stage. This right after mouse detection. I have tried a
different mouse, makes no difference. The debug console complains a
"neighbour buffer/stack [can't remember which] overflow. Also, it loads
a scsi cdrom driver. I have a ATAPI IDE drive. Is this normal? After
all, it boots ok. The install draws an empty screen and fails/freezes. I
can reboot with ctrl-alt-del in the debug console but the installation
screen is dead. What's up? I'm running another linux distribution right
now, so my hardware can't be all that bad :)
