What program are you using to play the mp3 files and what error are you
getting?
You may have to change permissions on one or more files in /dev
(/dev/dsp and/or /dev/mixer for instance).
Also, I've configured my Yamaha OPL card with sndconfig from the debian
repository in the past with satisfactory results. Yours does look like
it's properly configured though.
