I just installed Windows 98 again, and it wiped out
my GRUB loader, as expected.
No problem, as I have the Progeny CDROM...

Wrong.

First, unlike Mandrake's bootable CD, if you type 'linux rescue'
you enter the installation stage. In Mandrake's you could type
'linux root=/dev/hdc1' and could enter in YOUR system.
Anyway I could switch to a console.

Second, I could mount my /dev/hdc1 partition into /mnt.
Just to become helpless. What should be the next
step? I could try and reinstall grub but my guess
is that it will try to find its stuff in /etc/ and
/boot/, while everything will be in /mnt/etc and
/mnt/boot...

I decided to ask this list instead of doing something
that I could not fix.

How does one reinstall grub from the install CD???

PS: (Any RTFM reference is fine, btw)
