Hi Jose,
Unfortunately, it's a bit more complex than this ;) The Hurd requires that sources be recompiled, and is pretty significantly different from the architechture of the Linux kernel. Also, the Hurd kernel is still very much in development. If you are still interested, however, you may want to try to compile the Progeny packages on top of the Debian GNU/Hurd distribution : http://www.debian.org/ports/hurd/ On Fri, Sep 28, 2001 at 01:07:08PM -0700, Jose Luis Alarcon wrote: > Hi Progeny Users List. > > Can i install the Hurd kernel in my Progeny Newton System?. > > Can anybody tell me the method for do this? > > Thanks you, very much, in advance. > > Regards. > > Jose Luis. > > == > Debian Progeny 1.0 "Newton". > Registered Linux User #213309. > Memories.....
