Menurut saya coba pakai FBUS. Peralatan yang digunakannya cukup murah. Walau HP yang dipakai type lama tapi dapat kemampuannya cukup baik. Component bisa di download di www.softwarecave.nl disana lengkap dengan tutorialnya. Tapi saya menemukan kelemahan dari FBUS ini, yaitu tidak bisa kirim SMS ke HP CDMA (kecuali FLEXI). Keunggulannya adalah teknik pemrograman yang diperlukan tidak terlalu rumit.
Atau lebih baik gunakan component MSCOMM, component ini bawaan VB nya. HP yang pernah saya gunakan adalah Siemens ME45. Agar lebih jelas coba baca buku karangan Ir.Bustam Khan disitu penjelasannya cukup jelas.
