**Engineer Handset Tester Leader**
**The Responsibilities:**
You are responsible for the design and development of test cases/plans
to test software for compliance and defects prior to conducting user
acceptance test (UAT) with customers. You will liaise with software
development teams and work closely with them to communicate test results
and defects rectification. You will also be responsible for documenting
defects for prevention purposes and for future reference.
**Our Requirements: **
* A degree in software engineering, computer engineering or computer
science
* Additional formal qualification in software quality assurance
* 3 years software engineering experience preferably in the
smartcards, mobile telecommunications or wireless technology
industry
* Experience in independent system analysis and testing of software
* Experience in Java and or C/C++ programming language is essential
* Additional knowledge of GSM/EMV/3G W-CDMA/CDMA2000/WiFi
specifications will be an advantage
* Effective interpersonal and time-management skills
* Self-motivated, resourceful and creative problem-solver
* Able to function effectively as an individual or in a team
* Able to supervise and lead a team of Handset Tester.
