I've always thought a quite amusing experiment to ask a native Danish
speaker to translate the (meaningless) English expression "The dog without
the skin" in Danish and look at his/her face... Those of you without a
Danish-speaking friend can go to Goggle translate to see why:
http://translate.google.com/#auto/da/the%20dog%20without%20the%20skin
Google translate will also pronounce fairly reasonably the translated
expression to complement the experience...
