Eric, I was getting the same error messages using jijs. Now after I run code with an error, it no longer goes one more step to show the error in jijx but stops at the incorrect line. This isn't really a problem as I can run it myself.
I do miss the green line which printed each time a jijs window was run and showed which one it was. Please give the new update a try. WIth focus on the jijs edit area, press ctrl+f and you should see a simple find textfield at the top of the edit area. jhelp has basics docs. I think the sp facility is much improved. Take a look at sphelp. The way spr'' gives you quick edit links to recent files is handy.
