That was mostly for my fellow compatriots whose English and J is
not quite at par with their, say, Russian skills. Summary for
everyboy else (with their German much worse than their Latin):
The program committee of the "Chemnitzer Linux Tage 2013" just
accepted my proposal for a beginner's workshop on J.
- March 17+18th, TU Chemnitz (Germany)
- 3 hour workshop (17th, 14:00-17:00)
- workshop language: German
- a few words on J history and principal ideas
- hands-on beginner exercises, using both
shared and individual j console sessions.
CLT is one of the older, larger national Linux conferences which
has managed to keep its charming, no fuss, person-to-person
character. 2500-3000 attendees can select from 100 presentations
on linux issues ranging from personal to large-scale, corporate
topics. All that for a ridiculously low entrance fee of 8 EUR.
