This is my third attempt to get a response to the forum - prior ones frustrated 
by various email clients on various machines … 

I'm looking forward to having jal on iOS. I have also been thinking of writing 
a sockets app on iOS so the looking fiddling wasn't wasted. 

The bit below was originally written  on the iPad in question

IOS 7 on iPad 2 -

Using iExplore on my iMac, I dropped a file "blam.ijs" into the JiOS 
"Documents" folder - Then, without a restart of J, got the following result:

   load'blam.ijs'
