I've now uploaded files esjtex.txt (copy of esjtex.sty) and example.txt (copy of example.tex) to the page http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/EwartShaw/ESJTeX It should be possible to download & then rename these files without problems.
Sorry (1) if there's a better hack than renaming the files, (2) for not having noticed before that the original files wouldn't download, (3) for the inelegance of my solution to drawing boxes - but it worked in 1996! (4) if ESJTeX doesn't work in J7 or J8 - I haven't migrated yet. (5) for my previous personal reply that was accidentally copied to Jprogramming. That should cover everything [I prefer to get not only my retaliation but also my excuses in first]. Hope it's useful!
