I do have the same problems regardless of the keyboard used (the J keyboard
of J console as well as the standard android keyboard

Indeed, I mean labs advance. I do not see anything at the bottom of the
screen here.
I tried tapping everywhere at the bottom of the screen, resulting just in
the soft keyboard popping up.
Tapping F6 on the bluetooth keyboard does not make anything happen (nor
other F keys, nor any modifiers but shift, eg. ctrl left or right does not
move by word as expected, ctrl-c or v just inserts a c or v)

Lets see :)

Thanks for the effort anyhow, I think that Android might be a platform for
J to shine on, as there is not really anything doing serious computation on
these platforms.
If there is someone trying to do multi-processor stuff on android, I'm
wanting to test it, since I've got this Toshiba tablet with a Tegra3
chipset.

Kind regards
