2. J arrays are homogeneous.  So, you can not combine numbers and
characters, for example.  However, you can convert before combining, e.g.
 'The number of seconds ',":secs.  And of course you can box first before
combining:  (<'Seconds: '),<secs or 'Seconds: ';secs
