ijconsole is not the official jconsole and it looks for libj.so.8.0.1 under /usr/lib/... I forgot the detail but I might compile it with linenoise ( https://github.com/antirez/linenoise )
libjqt.so will look for libj.so, in your case, there should be some file unable to load, you may try strace open to see why. I use /bin/jqt without any problem in my development computer.
