What I want is a few pieces of Qt functionality that use "wd" - like websockets, graphics, and system timer (event-driven things). I used to have these when gtk was the GUI driver of choice, so, even though Qt is generally acknowledged to be better than gtk, in its current implementation, it's a step backwards.
