Just spend a little while fumbling around to figure out how wd's "mb input"
works. This message might save people a few minutes fumbling. For the most
part it is pretty obvious, but there are a few percultaries.

For double and int: Negative numbers are indicated by the traditional minus
sign "-", not the underscore "_" which is not accepted. (no surprise)

item is a little tricky. The item list must be enclosed in '"' marks. Items
are separated by either space or LF. The " (double quote) character is not
allowed in an item nor can it be used to separate items in the list. If LF
is used then spaces are allowed in items. Null (zero length) items are
ignored. A blank item can be shown if it consists of at least one blank
character.

   t=.'Joseph Donald',LF,LF,'  Amanda Carroll',LF,'  ',LF, 'Amy'

   smoutput wd 'mb input item People "Their Names" 1 1 "',t,'"'

There may be other ways to allow spaces in an item but I haven't found any
yet. If anybody knows of any others please let me know.
