Yeah, OpenGL SORT OF worked for me under 7 too, can't remember details, I got too frustrated and dumped the whole thing in disgust, I seem to remember it was working (partially) under Linux32, OKish under Windows64 (but I don't want to have to use Windows), and I think it worked very poorly under Linux64 (or maybe not at all, more likely).
Now, under 8, not even the demos are present, as far as I can see. I might try and use your addon, but time is a bit limited at the moment, something that works out of the box would be nice...
