Greg and Devon, I am told that if you can root it then chances are you can run J.
Devon, KUAL is used to root the KT and it seems to work also for the PW; you would have to try it. For JHS I am using a version of the SkipStone browser also via KUAL, a bonus is that in addition to be a client of a local Kindle J server one can also be a client of a full fledged J server running on the network via WiFi.
