[Jprogramming] pd get

I am attempting to read a .png file into a plot window. I entered

   pd 'get png ',f
|psel : command failed: psel
: wd
|   (LF,~wd ::(''"_)'qer')    (13!:8)3

but got an error.

What is the format for the command? And is there an example of this
somewhere?
