Hi, A famous linguist once said that "to understand a new language, that you should focus on the verbs first." Who said that? I know I came across the idea of applying this to programming first in this community. It might be an article or a forum post. Does someone here know?
Here's a short wikipedia article with all permutations of verb, subject, object <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verb%E2%80%93subject%E2%80%93object>. The reference I'm was along these lines. I'm doing a talk, and I'd like to attribute this properly. thanks! -Steven T. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
