@Cliff: Part of your article you published in Vector as well
http://archive.vector.org.uk/art10501760 , why not all of it and why shouldn't
we all share our J-gems in Vector, instead of Journal of J?

Onderwerp: [Jprogramming] Journal of J

Hi,

The Journal of J (http://www.journalofj.com/) published an issue in June of
this year. I indulged the fact that it is an electronic journal to write an
article with 108 figures (47 pages). It was on finding cellular automata that
exhibit complex behavior using some statistics. The most interesting figures
are near the end, and you might tire of scrolling, but it is followed by a nice
article by Devon McCormick “Calculating Maximum Drawdown” and then a short note
I am still studying by Nollaig MacKenzie. I encourage you to take a peek at
that issue and earlier ones too.

The primary point of this note is to encourage additional submissions. I am
working on a recreational project with J and probably would have a note
suitable for the Journal of J in 2 or 3 months. Anyone else have some nice
projects suitable for sharing in the Journal of J? You might enjoy indulging as
I did. I would be happiest if I am not alone in an issue.

Best, Cliff
