Hi Ian, it has been quite a while since I've actively used Windows. But I've been under the impression that backslashes were only needed in the "shell". Whenever I was programming in C or Lua or J, I always used forward slashes as the directory delimiter on Windows and everything worked correctly. Maybe give that a try?
