Linda, Jd isn't the same as J; quoting from Package Manager's footnote,
it's a "commercial database product" which requires a licence-fee. You can
both install and update it using Tools/Package Manager.
You can then do:
load'jd' NB. my typing, followed by two-line output:
!!! Jd key: non-commercial use only!
jdwelcome_jd_ NB. run this sentence for important information
Eric, I'm a little puzzled by Package Manager (under both J8 and J9
beta) reporting
the latest update as Jd 4.4.73 rather than J.24.xxx .
