Thank you Mike, I appreciate the compliment.

I believe that an object with a shape of 0 does present as a blank line.

    2 0 $ 4 NB. 2 empty lines

{: 2 0 $ 4 NB. result is shape 0 which is one empty line

   0 $ 4

NB. 0 shape presents as one empty (blank) line

Is the concern that you have about the way that I worded it (I am certainly
fallible in this area) or that you did not expect that result? (which if true,
I am happy that the video was able to reveal this)

For the background shapes, I chose to isolate the items since this is the part
of the argument that Tail is selecting. I used a light blue to allow good
contrast to the contents (integers) and to stand out from the black background.
For atoms I have used an outline ring as a way to show that the shape is empty.
For other items the shape of the blue background is the same as the shape of
the item. I am intrigued by the mention of other work that you are doing that
relates to this and I welcome anything that you have learned that may help me
with my approach. Getting the visuals to appear so that they clarify the
explanations has been a big challenge and I would be less than honest if I told
you that I have it all figured out. I am still working on those representations.

Thanks again for your comments and questions.

Cheers, bob
