I was running beta-h and the first set of instructions worked perfectly. Very 
nice.

For others from my experience before I had beta-h, it is really important to 
update the base library before you load 'pacman', I had missed that step before 
and while not too hard to recover from, it is much easier to follow the 
directions! :-)
