Maybe it was just the 11!:4000 issue, but I reinstalled , using Bill's
link,
and then:
Tools/Package Manager/<install updates & uninstalled> worked,
albeit without much insight on progress,
and then
load'plot'
plot i.7
worked fine as well.
I haven't got round to trying more.
