Thanks,  Bill

It's probably no surprise to you,   but perhaps it's worth reporting:

a) I tried the Windows etc method recommended by Eric:

   load 'pacman'
   'upgrade' jpkg 'jengine'
upgrade not supported for this_platform_

b)   Tools/Check New Version throws up a dialog box
somewhat like this:

[There is newer version of this  ]
   [application available.          ]
   [                                ]
[Do you want to upgrade now?     ]
   [          CANCEL    OK          ]

the result of selecting OK is strange (to me!):  the android
  browser opens,  showing the site
jsoftware.... (no time to see all!) very briefly before reverting
to its previous entry - in my case the result of a google search
for my daughter's New Year ski resort.

I eventually found the right site,
    jsoftware.com/downloads/j901/install,
by reviewing my full browse history.  I chose that site, selected
the apk file and successfully downloaded and installed it, as
  an update.

So all was ok in the end.

The odd behaviour in (b) might be a result of my android
settings.  I'd welcome any enlightenment.

Also,  is there any hot key or similar device for recalling
previous session entries?  The equivalents in JQt and JHS are
ctrl-shift-up-arrow,  and in J for iPad I use left-swipe.

Thanks again,

Mike

j901-release-b is available for windows/linux/macos

It has minor bug fixes to the previous release.

You can upgrade your j901 install with:

start J
    load 'pacman'
    'upgrade' jpkg 'jengine'
