I now have J running under both Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux under WSL. I
would like to ensure that I run the same configuration set-up for both
instances but am afraid I have so customized my own configuration over the
years that I am making more work for myself than is necessary.

I know that somewhere in the J wiki there is an outline of how J starts up
- what it loads and such - but I have not been able to locate it.

In any case, it looks like the Qt interface runs a script "startup.ijs"
that I have set up under Windows to simply run my usual startup script but
I cannot find where this file lives and it looks like jconsole does not use
this when it starts: I explicitly invoke my usual startup script when I
open jconsole under emacs as I usually do.

What is the standard way to customize J at startup? Is there a way that
applies both to jconsole and JQt?

Thanks,

Devon
