Wouldn't that depend on implementing an adverb which converts a
function to an indicator function? (Because once you have that, you
can use the riemann integral? And the old d._1 or its replacement
deriv_jcalculus_ _1 handles a variety of tractable cases there.)

Or did you have something else in mind?
