Thank you for the comments guys. I'm thinking of doing my next bit of research 
work in J and I could use that as an opportunity to start binding GSL. It'll 
end up being a random smattering of whatever I happen to need but at least it's 
a place other can contribute to. Maybe I'll make a start when that comes around 
and then point to it on this thread? Emir
