Hi Joseph, being a beginner myself, I fully understand the troubles of learning J.. However, my two main learning resources have been:
1. The book "Learning J" which you already mentioned: http://www.learningj.com/ 2. Henry Rich's book "J for C programmers": https://www.jsoftware.com/help/jforc/contents.htm While the first book gives a more example driven approach to the material, the latter one gives a more in-depth presentation of the basic concepts. At least that is how I felt about the books. Other interesting insights might be provided by the essay collection "Fifty Shades of J": https://code.jsoftware.com/wiki/Fifty_Shades_of_J Regards, Thomas ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
