Present: Art Anger, John Baker, Raul Miller, Bob Therriault

1) Bob presented an update on the J Playground.
https://jsoftware.github.io/j-playground/bin/html/emj.html In the last week, a
lot of work has been done by Joe Bogner, as he is looking to reduce his
involvement with much of the heavy lifting completed. Currently the Playground
has the ability to
  a) run selected J labs from the menu
  b) Enter multiline scripts which can be saved as URL's of the Playground
  c) Provide a bridge between JavaScript and J
Since Will and Jon were not at the meeting, there was not any discussion about
steps forward other than the fact that we are far ahead of schedule with this
aspect of the project and there is no need to rush development.

2) We then discussed the structure of the wiki, beginning with the appearance
of the landing pages. The feeling was that the more colourful icon pages would
be used for high traffic areas, but that this look was not required for pages
deeper in the wiki with higher text content. The existing prototype pages would
be extended so that they have active links to allow people to test the wiki
more effectively. Also, plans to replicate the information on the jsoftware
README page on the main prototype landing page
https://code.jsoftware.com/wiki/Wiki/prototype_landing_page , so that link from
J software will access the main landing page. There was then some discussion
about revising the sidebar with links to the Playground, moving the J wiki
search to the top and reviewing some of the links such as Random Page to see
whether their utility meets the amount of space that they occupy. The advantage
of the sidebar is that it is present on every page of the wiki. A question of
whether the category page should be included in the sidebar was not resolved.

3) Bob ran an update of last week's video which will be public on Friday March
11th https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfKp12Bf5T8 and there was discussion on
the choice of topic for the next week's video. Raul suggested that he uses
Rosettastone https://rosettacode.org/wiki/Category:J#mw-pages for a lot of
programming, but that might not be the best for the general audience. Bob
suggested that he would do a walk through of the Playground to highlight its
capabilities and that if anyone had ideas later to let him know.

If you are interested in being involved with this process please reply to the
general forum. We welcome any comments or suggestions that you might have.
