Not at all. I'm grateful. I'm collecting reasons for eliminating WKWebView
altogether from jios.

Jios uses Apple's new(ish) WKWebView in the Info scene to display NuVoc.

https://www.hackingwithswift.com/articles/112/the-ultimate-guide-to-wkwebview

It replaces UIWebView (deprecated) as was used in the old j701 app.
See:

https://developer.apple.com/documentation/webkit/replacing_uiwebview_in_your_app
-which makes for depressing reading.

WKWebView is a Swiss Army knife for rendering html in any context, or
displaying webby formats like SVG or PDF. Once it looked to me like a dream
object: capable of any graphic effect jios users could wish for. Now I see
it as a Swiss Navy marlinspike. It has an excuse for refusing to do
whatever the user wants – all in the name of security.

FYI…
the jios Edit scene uses (by default) the default jqt color scheme. But you
can make it use the NuVoc color scheme:
   SYNTAX_COLOR_SCHEME_i_ =: 2 NB. colors scraped from NuVoc portal
or:
   SYNTAX_COLOR_SCHEME_i_ =: 3   NB. nearest system colors
I prefer the jqt scheme myself:
   SYNTAX_COLOR_SCHEME_i_ =: 1
because with the NuVoc schemes the noun/control/string colours are too
close for me. But newcomers to J may find them useful.
