Perhaps I can use this thread to illustrate why we set up a chat forum. We really would like to see the core forums focussed on J, and free of idle chitchat. Andrew's original post http://www.jsoftware.com/pipermail/programming/2006-July/002692.html is quite acceptable for the programming forum. Randy's three responses are not. They have essentially nothing to do with programming in J, and should have been posted to chat, or sent privately. Thanks.
