That said, to apply v0`v1 to m, I'd be tempted to use:
   ((#m)$v0`v1)4 :'x`:0 y'"0 m

Or, abstracting:
   cycl=: ([EMAIL PROTECTED] $ [) 4 :'x`:0 y'"0 ]
   v0`v1 cycl m
