(I make that mistake coding a lot too).  Example:

   1 +:`-:\ i. 5 5
  0  2   4  6   8

2.5  3 3.5  4 4.5

 20 22  24 26  28

7.5  8 8.5  9 9.5

 40 42  44 46  48

It's like m/., but can be applied to y with rank > 1.
As with m/., each verb is applied to a 1-item list of
cells of y, so you may have an extra leading axis to
get rid of somewhere.
