Dear J Forum:
I'm learning ODBC and working the Lab "ODBC: A simple application." I can
read the data table of the "expense.xls" workbook. But the statement "SHEET
ddcol ch" results in the 19 element boxed vector that begins:

│TABLE_CAT│TABLE_SCHEM│TABLE_NAME
L---------+-----------+-------
Why am I not reading the attributes of the variables Date, Amount, and Type?
Is it just that Excel can't provide this? Would it work with a Access or
Dbase table? Or can I get this information from an Excel table? Thanks.
