Oleg already referred to this, but I wanted to repeat it. You might want
to take a look at
Help|User Manual|Delveloping Applications|Emacs.

Subject: [Jprogramming] Debug in console mode
Members of the Programming Forum -
I've been very happy to be able to run J in console mode (jconsole)
under
emacs lately -
it allows me to use the most powerful language with the most powerful
editor
- and my
fingers know exactly what my brain wants them to do.
However, I am running a graphical J session in paralllel for two
reasons:
to plot data and to run the debugger. I can live with moving data
between
sessions in order to plot it, in part because it forces me to save or
be
able
to replicate the data, but I'd like debug capability from the command
line:
can this be done?
Thanks,
Devon
