The idea is to simplify the whole business of providing scripts and other files to the end user. Right now, everything has to be done manually. Once Install is working properly, then you as the developer of tara should be able to make a change to the copy on your machine, do an "svn up" to update the repository, and that update will immediately be available to the Install menu in a J session. Even these two trivial steps can be automated.
