We don't recommend that you modify any files under system. A new installation, or an update from pmview, will simply overwrite any such modifications. There is not much choice about this. For example, you might make a change that works fine with the current release, but is broken by an update; or your changes may even break the update. If your change fixes a bug, or is an improvement, send it to us and we will update the source. Once the new JAL system is working properly, you should be able to install a new set of library scripts with that change almost immediately - this is one reason for setting up JAL. If the change is specific to your use of the system, then it should be saved elsewhere, perhaps in your startup script. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
