Dear J Forum:
For the first time I've written a script that creates functions in a new
locale (starts out with coclass). But when I'm in the base locale, J will
not recognize these functions unlesss I use the form "function_locale_".
How can I put my locale in some sort of search path, so that J will use it
without the suffix?
Also, I've discovered many J numbered locales. I'm guessing that whenever I
run a script that terminates abnormally, I'm leaving behind a stack of
debris. I remember that in APL stacks had to be cleared, but J let's me
ignore that. I don't know anything about debugging, and have gotten along
satisfactorily without it. But when an error causes termination, can I find
all the variables in the locale of the higest number?
Sorry to ask such broad questions. Short answers will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Leigh
