Does anybody happen to have some utility for command line parsing, i.e. option and argument processing? I'm aware of Dan Bron's jcommandline.ijs.
I also dimly remember that Joey Tuttle had sent his option parsing utility to me years ago but unfortunately I'm unable to unearth that email/script. Ideally I'd have something honouring the POSIX option/argument conventions for command line utilities: http://www.gaertner.de/~neitzel/susv3/basedefs/xbd_chap12.html#tag_12 I'm not a huge fan of the getopts(1)/getopt(3) API. As far as I can remember it, Joey's utility was quite nice: table driven and resulting in a keyed option list. (But I might be wrong - it has been ages.) Any traces of that anywhere? Any alternatives? Martin Neitzel ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
