I can reproduce your problem.
The first error I get is
|value error: IfPie
| (-.IfPie)*.#YCAPTION
and as you say, after that error, after executing
plot i.4
pd'reset'
and then repeating the pd commands, the multi-plot works
beautifully.
Looks like a bug in jzplot.ijs .
