I want to create a grid where the user can choose between several
columns of numbers (expected future price profiles). One immediate
solution is to transpose the grid and use jsgrid & GRIDROWMODE. However
it is much easier to compare the number lists as columns than as rows.

If I was going to try to extend the idea of GRIDROWMODE I see a couple
of main options:
0. create a new derived class from jzgrid analogous to jsgrid that works
on columns. I think I would need to add a GRIDCOLMODE option to jsgrid
and the analogous handler logic there too.

1. generalise jsgrid/jzgrid to handle columns or rows, perhaps based on
the GRIDROWMODE option: 0=none 1=row 2=column

My questions are as follows:
0. Which of these options (if any) is more sensible or is there another
I've missed?

1. How involved/complicated is this likely to be? (IOW am I biting of
more than I can chew?!!)
