Well, I ran into a problem a while back where paren turned an expression
into a hook.

  +((+/)%#)3 4 6
4.33333
  paren '+((+/)%#)3 4 6'
((+ ((+ /) % #)) 3 4 6)
((+ ((+ /) % #)) 3 4 6)
7.33333 8.33333 10.3333

Got side tracked and never reported it.
