Dear Sir:

Thanks for very quick response. I will try that. I think that the matlab creates "good" eps file.

A side note: you can use PDF output,
which is native to Preview.

EPS and PostScript are available to Preview
by means of a converter. It this converter
that does not recognize or find certain features
in the J output EPS.

In order to establish the problem part, find
a "good" EPS file and then open them both
in a text editor, see what the differences
are and try to make changes in J output until
it shows up.

Then such changes need to be made into J
PostScript generation code. This procedure is
as easy as it is obvious. It will help to start
with very simple graphic to maintain EPS output
easily visually.

Hi all:

I am using J on the Apple Mac OSX.

f=:[:1&o.*  NB. sin(x*y)

plot 0 3 100;0 3 100;'f'
pd 'eps plot1.eps'

This creates the eps file that can be opened by Adobe Illustrator.
However, when I use Preview (Mac standard viewer), only a white paper
comes up. Nothing can be seen.

I prefer the Preview to open graphic files.

Best regards.
