having seen a lot of beautiful J phrases, the phrase that is most
impressive to me is the
cartesian product
cartesian =: ,"_ _1 "_1 _
It demonstrates a basical mathematical idea,
it shows that nested looping is by far easier in J than in other languages,
and it needs only two entities the append verb and the rank conjunction.
