Thank you, very clear.

Verb showlist shows lists vertically.  J shows vectors horizontally and 
other lists vertically.  The consistency of showlist helped my 
understanding, but J's display is better because it is compact and we 
are used to reading horizontally, then vertically.

   showlist i. 4  NB. list
