[Jprogramming] Selecting a directory by browsing

I would like the end user to choose a directory for some output files.  
The wd command *mbopen title directory filename filterpairs [style...]  
*doesn't seem to allow the selection of a directory -only a file.  This 
has already proved confusing.  Is there an easy solution?
