JAck Andrews asked: > how do i find to which locale a name resolves? The short answer is download and run:
http://www.jsoftware.com/svn/DanBron/trunk/environment/fqn.ijs Then you can do this: fqn'each' +-------+ |each_z_| +-------+ The long answer is: you don't have to do that (why do you have to do that?). -Dan PS: You could have also made us of: http://www.jsoftware.com/svn/DanBron/trunk/environment/namescope.ijs but apparently the semantics of 15!:6 have changed. You can only use it on pronouns now. I'm a bit sad, because the foreign was great for tooling around J. Though, at least in this case, it can be replaced (using the same strategy as in FQN, which is guarunteed by the DoJ). Roger, was there any particular reason for this change? (I know it's always been undocumented.) -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/locales-tp15203752s24193p15216688.html Sent from the J Programming mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
